I’ve struggled with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) for over eight years. In the void it created, I found a different way of seeing life.
It sharpened my awareness of myself and others. I began to notice the layers we hide behind and how deeply humane we truly are beneath them.
I have learned that being your truest yourself is our first step to enlightenment. I learned to embrace, understand and accept my being. Through the darkness, I earned an unshakeable belief that anything with a positive net outcome is possible.
